| How it StartedOur founder, Mr. Chain Singh Bola, immigrated from Punjab, India, envisioned that all varieties of South Asian groceries should be made available under one roof to the South Asian community residing in Canada. With this vision in mind, our first grocery store was set up in Etobicoke in 1974. This one-stop shop for all South Asian community day-to-day grocery needs was a big hit with the customers! Driven by our phenomenal success in Etobicoke and our vision of our founder Mr. Chain Singh Bola, we have expanded our operations and opened yet another one of the biggest Grocery stores in 2007 in Brampton, where a vast majority of South Asians live. |
